About

Chef PK and husband Bradley Oliver are proud to offer a full service restaurant in their home town of Grand Coulee! PK’s offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We have a small town casual feel but love to surprise our guests with the unexpected flavors of the big city! Chef PK prides herself on having a from scratch kitchen, serving only the highest quality ingredients and Bradley put his beverage knowledge to the test to create our extensive beer and wine menus. On top of a full service restaurant, PK’s also offers fully custom catering services. We host monthly 7 course themed dinners with wine, beer, or non-alcoholic mocktail pairings that offer a glimpse into the mind of a classically trained chef. Chef PK started cooking from a very young age. She spent time cooking and baking with her mother and grandmothers as a child. As she was finishing high school, her Grandpa George gave her the most important advice.of her life, “When you pick your career, pick something that doesn’t make you feel like you are going to work everyday.” With that advice, PK dove head first into the world of culinary at the age of 21. PK graduated from the Maui Culinary Academy with degrees in Culinary Arts, Baking & Patisserie, and Restaurant Supervision. While living in Hawaii, she spent time working in high end restaurants, such as Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, and as a private chef in various large estates. After Hawaii, PK bounced around different kitchens in Washington and then headed to New England to help reopen the historic Cliff House Resort at Cape Neddick, Maine. While in New England she spent time running a recreational cooking school and French bistro in New Hampshire. She made her way home to Grand Coulee in 2019 after a stint of catering in Seattle. Chef PK is thrilled to be operating her restaurant with her husband in their hometown! Bradley first found a passion for wine in college in 2005 while living in Costa Mesa, CA. He and his roommates played collegiate sports during different seasons so in an effort to spend time together they decided to do “family dinner” on Friday nights after practices where they invited some other friends. Bradley and his friend Jeff would go to the grocery store and pick out three wines for the evening, one they knew they liked and one each that they had never tried. This created the opportunity to try a lot of different varietals from many different countries. After moving home to Grand Coulee, Bradley opened The Wine Bar with a long time friend and continued his wine education. After closing The Wine Bar due to the pandemic, Bradley decided to create a wonderful and diverse wine and beer menu at PK’s that features offerings from Washington State, Italy and France among other prestigious wine countries around the world.
